REBL Credit
Are you a Georgetown Student who aspires to work with the research and lab work of an esteemed professor? Interested in developing your own research project ideas? Consider joining the Happy Tech Lab for (R)esearch (E)xperience-(B)ased (L)earning credits. Before becoming a REBL student, we require that you volunteer as a research assistant for at least one semester. Contact us for more information.
Federal Work-Study Students

Honors StudenT
Dr. Kushlev is happy to supervise Honors projects examining the effect of technology on health and well-being. To be eligible, Honors students must (1) contact Dr. Kushlev at least 6 months in advance of their senior year to discuss their ideas and (2) volunteer in the Happy Tech lab for at least one semester prior to their senior year. Students are strongly encouraged to read this paper, The Social Price of Constant Connectivity: Smartphones Impose Subtle Costs on Well-Being, before contacting us.
