Research Assistants

REBL Credit
Are you a Georgetown Student who aspires to work with the research and lab work of an esteemed professor? Interested in developing your own research project ideas? Consider joining the Happy Tech Lab for (R)esearch (E)xperience-(B)ased (L)earning credits. Before becoming a REBL student, we require that you volunteer as a research assistant for at least one semester. Contact us for more information.
Federal Work-Study Students
If you receive federal work-study, we are happy to consider paying you as a Research Assistant. This option only applies to those who receive federal work-study. If this is you, please fill out our Research Assistant application.
Honors StudenTS
Dr. Kushlev is happy to supervise Honors projects examining the effect of technology on health and well-being. To be eligible, Honors students must (1) contact Dr. Kushlev at least 6 months in advance of their senior year to discuss their ideas and (2) volunteer in the Happy Tech lab for at least one semester prior to their senior year.
PostDocs and visiting scholars
Dr. Kushlev is a faculty mentor for the predoctoral/postdoctoral training (T32) and mentored career development (K12) programs at Georgetown-Howard Universities Center for Clinical and Translational Science (GHUCCTS) funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS)/NIH.
